Rögle, pronounced rer-gler, are based in Ängelholm and play at the Catena Arena.
The team has been a consistent presence in the SHL since the 2015-16 season. They have come close to winning the Gold Medal twice since then, most recently in the 2023-24 season when they made an unlikely run to the Final before being defeated by Skellefteå.
Although the SHL title has eluded them to this point, they enjoyed European success in 2022 when they defeated Finland’s Tappara Tampere to win the Champions Hockey League.
