Timrå, pronounced teem-roar, play out of the SCA Arena.
Founded in 1928, they are yet to win the SHL in their history. They spent 7 of 8 seasons between 2013-14 and 2020-21 in the second-tier of Swedish hockey. The were promoted at the end of the 2020-21 season and have stayed in the top-tier since then, including a play-off appearance in 2023-24.
There is excitement around the team heading into the 2024-25 season thanks to the appointment of Finnish legend Olli Jokinen as their new Head Coach. Jokinen spent 17 years in the NHL as a player and joins Timrå after three years as Head Coach with Finnish Liiga team Jukurit.
